Indoor Activities

Since kids are almost indoors all day. It is only fitting that we get creative with some indoor activities for them to do. Here are a few to help you out:

  • Make a game out of cleaning: Since we can’t hire cleaning services as often as before, make a game for them to help. You can make a competition if you have more than one kid or a scavenger hunt if you only have one.
  • Create activity stations: Like a gym or carnival, create activity stations. These spots can have different things to do. From coloring to singing, or even dancing.

Backyard Activities

When thinking about how to keep your child active at home, the first thing we think about is the backyard. Yes, we can use it to keep them entertained. So, here are a few things to do out there:

  • Hide and seek: Classics never fail. Play some hide and seek around your backyard. You might have to make some adjustments to the place but they’ll be worth it.
  • Obstacle course: You can do this with simple home furniture or things. Kids love jumping and running. This is a great idea to help them channel that raw energy.
  • Build a tent: A treehouse is expensive but a tent, is a lot cheaper. You can use some blankets you are not using and some sticks to build a tent.
